Welcome to the Chisholm Lab at the National University of Singapore. The biodiversity of planet Earth is a source of endless fascination. Why are there many more species in some places than others? What are the consequences of biodiversity for the functioning of Earth’s ecosystems and for human well-being? We explore these questions and others using the mathematical and computational tools of theoretical ecology.
